I wanted to take this opportunity and extend a massive thank you to MES and everyone who supported AIG with the re-instatement of all electrical infrastructure, building fabric within level 8 and a number of floors below over the weekend. MES pulled out every single stop necessary and worked tirelessly around the clock to ensure the remediation plan, and associated works would be complete by Sunday allowing AIG to occupy their space for Monday. Our client took the opportunity and walked around level 8 this morning and again about an hour ago, and it is fair to say almost everybody was oblivious to the incident that occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning, including the gravity and the sheer scale of the works required, which would allow AIG staff to return to work as normal. Please ensure all staff who gave up their weekend for the benefit of AIG are recognised, as I know a number of staff cancel private – family functions and came into London to support the works required. Once again a huge thank you everyone they should be extremely proud of what was achieved over the weekend, and is a true test to of the resolve, flexibility , capability of both MES and your supply chain.
